Fallschirmjägergewehr 42

4 Years ago I decided to make the Fallschirmjägergewehr 42. Back then I was new to 3D modeling, so it didn’t look very accurate. This is a ‘remaster’ of the FG42 I tried to make. It also kind of serves as a comparison of how much I have improved.

I know this weapon doesn’t really need any description anymore since it is a fairly well known weapon. But maybe for the people who really don’t know: The FallschirmJägergewehr 42, also known as the FG42 or Paratrooper Rifle 42, served as a lightweight rifle for German paratroopers in the second world war.
